To promote Data Dimensions' dedication to processing claims from the Veterans Administration as quickly as possible, our Marketing Department created the "We've Got Your 6" campaign, which played off the old military saying meaning "We've got your back" (six o'clock being slang for the rear position among World War I pilots). More importantly, it illustrated Data Dimensions' commitment to reducing the processing time for veterans' claims from 48 hours to less than six hours -- a goal that was met.
To inspire our document processors, I designed a large "We've Got Your 6 Banner" that was signed by them and hung in the processing center. The same image was also used in smaller posters and cards that employees placed in their ID badge holders. And all employees were given T-shirts with the logo on the front and back.
